Holiday home Casa do Azeite
In 1986 the last olives were pressed in the mill, now an old characteristic building of granite and slate.
In summer it is agreeably cool inside, whereas you can enjoy the sociable warmth of the stove in winter.
The Casa do Azeite is a unique house on a particular location: hidden in the shadow of a fig tree, a rustling brooklet and pattering waterfall/cascade in the background.
The mill has been carefully restored to a high standard. The original interior was preserved, yet combined with daring modern elements.
Layout
On the ground floor you'll find a large, spacious living room, with cosy corners and seats, a well-equipped open kitchen with dining area.
There is also a large bathroom with shower and toilette.
The ground floor offers you a beautiful view of the brooklet and the cascade.
On the first floor you'll find a vide/mezzanine and two bedrooms: one has got two single beds, and the other a double bed.
